Sustainable Drinking

Talk of Town secures PR account of Emil – the Bottle. The Bavarian family-owned company trusts its new strategic partner from Munich.

Already in the 90s, the Weiß family set an example against the plastic bottle insanity in German schoolyards with the Emil glass drinking bottle. For almost 30 years now, the company from rural Wittibreut has been dressing up bottles with stylish bags made of organic cotton or Oeko-Tex certified fabric. In this way, Emil Vertriebs GmbH not only ensures an individual look for the loyal “companions”, but also offers a practical, sustainable solution for thirsty customers on the go. Within a very short time, the clever drinking bottle made its way into the hearts of parents and schoolbags of countless children.

In addition to different bottle sizes for school, sports and office, the range now includes baby bottles and jars, wide-neck bottles with larger drinking openings for smoothies or fashionable cotton bags with stars, llamas and unicorn prints. In a comprehensive B2B and B2C campaign, the Munich-based PR agency Talk of Town increases the awareness and popularity of Emil – the Bottle among consumers and trade partners alike. Among other things, editorial talks, interviews, blog articles, social media campaigns are planned, but also classic press releases and consumer reports.

“It is not only since ‘Fridays for Future’ that children, young people and adults have been longing for more sustainability. For many years, Emil has been accompanying families in their everyday lives and demonstrates how easily and effectively each of us can make a change. Green issues are very dear to us, too”, reveals Annika Keilhauer, managing director of Wächter & Wächter PR & Event GmbH.
