Big Moments designs information event with feel-good character for Vonovia. Gartenstadt Nuremberg blossoms as a colourful meeting place for residents.

Sustainable residential developments succeed in close cooperation with tenants, neighbours and other project partners. For Vonovia, Germany’s currently leading nationwide residential real estate company, transparency is king. Residents should be informed early on about plans for their neighborhood and are actively involved in the creation of ideas. Big Moments therefore develops and implements a comprehensive info event concept, where tenants can learn more about the latest developments in their neighbourhood and at the same time talk to their neighbours as well as to planners and Vonovia staff. At the end of September, the Vonovia Green Talk premieres in Nuremberg.

Nuremberg Garden City classically stands for the green idyll on the outskirts of the city: many of the residents have been enjoying the neighbourly atmosphere in the spaciously designed Vonovia quarter for more than 60 years. While the City of Nuremberg’s Architecture Council has highlighted the planned redensification and beautification of the so-called “Green Centre” as a showcase project, some tenants and residents are concerned about the future of their settlement and would like to get the right answers. During a personal discussion, architects, landscape planners and project supervisors from Vonovia explain the plans and provide information at an early stage – even before building permission is granted – about the course and possible implementation of the quarter’s development.

Information pavilions are used to show the current state of planning on the basis of various visualisations. At the same time, Vonovia collects further ideas and wishes for the modernisation of the outdoor facilities. Prior to this, the company had already determined the need for improvement in a front door survey. In addition to the information area, the tenants of the Garden City enjoy a planting campaign: True to the motto “The Garden City is blooming”, the residents put together individually designed autumn arrangements for their balconies. For the little ones there is make-up and a play corner. Afterwards, visitors are able to discuss the plans over hot dogs, cake and music.
